Fundraising Tips

That way, you’ll generate maximum impact and encourage donors to be more generous.

Nothing says commitment, like kicking off your fundraising effort with a donation to yourself. You’ll get the ball rolling and encourage donors to give a similar amount.

Check if your employer has a donation matching program. It’s an easy way to work towards your target.

Ask ten friends or co-workers for a $10 donation. It all adds up. And don’t forget to remind people that donations over $2 are tax deductible!

People want to support your good deed, but they need to know about it first. So, head to social media or send an all-staff email and let everyone know you’ll be making a splash for youth mental health. This way, you don’t even need to ask people to donate directly; give them the option.
