The Harriet Nixon Memorial Award

Recognising batyr's 'behind the scenes' supporters

The Harriet Nixon Memorial Award is presented annually at the Blue Tie Ball, to an individual who goes above and beyond to support batyr with little recognition over the year.

This award is an opportunity for the batyr staff and CEO, Katie Acheson, and Founder, Sebastian Robertson, to express thanks and appreciation to an invaluable individual for their consistent support, ensuring batyr continues to succeed in creating a mentally healthy Australia.

Harriet was a passionate advocate of batyr and was instrumental in the success of Australian National University's fundraiser, Civic2Surf, during the years 2015 and 2016. The Nixon family continues to support Civic2Surf and batyr with the same dedication and commitment.

The Harriet Nixon Memorial Award was renamed from the 'Unsung Hero Award' in 2017.
