Announcing the winner of our Pinterest competition

March 24, 2026

We’re excited to share the results of our recent campaign with Pinterest, bringing together leading creative agencies to explore what truly connects with young people online.

After a month-long campaign, four incredible creative teams delivered standout results across the platform, collectively achieving:

  • $39.9K in media value
  • 1.48 million unique individuals reached
  • 1.47 million video views

Campaign performance was measured across a range of metrics, including video views, completion rates and click-through rates, with points awarded accordingly - giving us a clear picture of what content resonated most with young audiences on Pinterest.

Final Results

First place: AKQA with 20 points

Second place: TBWA & DDB who tied on 19 points

Third place: Leo Burnett with 13 points

"Having the opportunity to work with a client like batyr that has such an important purpose has been amazing.” said Katie Bird, Senior Creative at AKQA. “The work we produced in collaborating with them, Pinterest and Genero will hopefully help to point more young people in their direction.”

At batyr, our work is grounded in connection, and that means continually evolving how and where we show up for young people.

With the social media ban for under-16s now in place for almost four months, the way young people engage with digital platforms is shifting. Platforms like Pinterest are becoming increasingly important spaces for discovery, creativity and self-expression - creating new opportunities to connect in ways that feel relevant, accessible and safe.

This campaign has enabled us to test creative approaches, gather meaningful insights and better understand what cuts through with young audiences in this evolving landscape.

Importantly, it has also given us a strong foundation to build from. With the support of Pinterest and our agency partners, we now have creative concepts we can continue to develop beyond the platform - extending the impact of this work even further.

We’re incredibly grateful to all teams involved and excited to build on what we’ve learned.
