On Wednesday, batyr attended Fitzy, Wippa and Kate Ritchie’s Backyard Cricket at Kirribilli House in Sydney.

Sebastian Robertson (batyr Founder), Ellen Derrick (batyr Chair) and Krisztina Javor (Head of Partnerships) spent the day with some Australian icons, including the Prime Minister himself, Anthony Albanese.

Joined by big names in sport and entertainment including Aussie cricket legend Brett Lee, tennis star Lleyton Hewitt and singer-songwriter Amy Shark, the batyr team enjoyed watching all the action of the star-studded game.

A host of special guests and VIPs also attended, including NSW Premier Chris Minns, Damien Cook, Nedd Brockmann, Matt Shirvington, Mel McLaughlin, Sarah Abo, Karl Stefanovic, Dr Andrew Rochford and Richard Wilkins.

After the game, the batyr team were generously presented with $10,000 from NOVA Entertainment and Kayo Sports to support our preventative youth mental health efforts.

We would like to thank NOVA Entertainment for having us alongside Ronald McDonald House Charities Sydney as their charity partners and generously supporting batyr, and to UnLtd for making this possible.
