batyr is pleased to announce that Bryony Tucker is stepping into the role of Chief Operating Officer.
As batyr continues to scale, and sets out to reach 3 million young people by 2030 it’s vital that we focus on operational efficiencies and sustainable organisational structures to allow us to achieve maximum impact.
batyr CEO Nic Brown has said; “I’m excited that Bryony is stepping up to the role of COO and I'm really looking forward to working closely with her to get batyr to where we need to be in order to achieve our long term goals. Having grown exponentially in the past 10 years it’s essential we focus on scalability so that we can make sure batyr is here for young people not just now, but well into the future.”
This role will be vital to our success in achieving our ambitious goals set out in our 2030 strategy. In order to create this amount of impact, we have to be sustainable and so Bryony will work closely with CEO Nic Brown and the wider leadership team to create the structures we need to reach these milestones including:
- Deliver programs in all states and territories in Australia.
- Deliver school programs to 70% of high school students and work with all Australian universities.
- Reach 3 million young people.

Bryony has a tenacious spirit and focuses on human centred leadership to create a working environment where people can bring their whole selves to work. Bryony has over a decade in leading large teams across Print Media and Retail, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge on delivering results in tough and ever changing markets.
Bryony has held the role of Director of Programs for the past 7 months and has worked closely with our State Managers and Program Delivery Teams. This has allowed Bryony to have a comprehensive understanding of how the teams currently operate and can now make informed decisions on how to create greater efficiencies that will allow us to scale and reach more young people.
