Growing up, I saw firsthand how many young people struggle silently with their mental health, not because they don’t want help, but because they don’t feel confident speaking up. Mental health is still something that’s often whispered about, hidden away, or misunderstood — especially for young people who are still figuring out who they are.
batyr’s work really speaks to me because they meet young people where they’re at, and teach them that reaching out, opening up, and supporting one another is something to be proud of, not ashamed of. Their programs create real conversations, real confidence, and real change — and that’s something I want to help bring to more communities.
As a National Finalist for Australia Galaxy Pageants, I have the privilege of using my platform to shine a light on causes that matter. I want to use this opportunity to advocate for the kind of kindness, understanding, and courage I wish every young person felt they had access to.
Fundraising for batyr means supporting early intervention, empowering young voices, and helping to create safer spaces for the next generation — something I care about deeply and feel honoured to be part of.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps batyr continue their incredible work in schools, universities, and communities across Australia. And knowing that our community helped make that happen means the world to me. 💙
