As Mrs Carramar Galaxy, I’m truly honoured to use my title to shine a light on youth mental health by supporting batyr, an incredible organisation empowering young people to speak up and seek help when they need it most. To raise funds and awareness for batyr, I’ve organised and supported a range of community initiatives, including a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, a Containers for Change recycling drive, a Lucky Numbers draw, creating my very own event "Colours for Everyone Day", a campaign to break the stereotype that pink is only for girls and blue is only for boys, because all colours belong to everyone and also through social media advocacy. Containers for Change ♻️ I’ve created a Containers for Change drive, providing collection bags, picking them up once they’re full and personally taking them to a recycling facility to raise funds for batyr. Reducing waste and supporting youth mental health at the same time. Thank you to everyone who has contributed their containers to my cause.
All Colours Are for Everyone Day 🌈 I’m so proud to have created All Colours Are for Everyone Day, a meaningful way to remind our young people that all colours belong to everyone. Thank you to everyone who dressed up in your favourite colours and donated a gold coin to support the cause and batyr. I also had the absolute joy of visiting two daycares, where I read a book to the children that celebrates the message that colours are for everyone.
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Update 🌭 A huge thank you to everyone who came down to support my Bunnings Sausage Sizzle for batyr. Every sausage sold and every donation made is helping support youth mental health.
