In Australia, 1 in 4 young people experience mental-ill health, and rates of psychological distress have increased in the last decade. Tragically, suicide is the leading cause of death for young people. By supporting batyr, we’re helping empower young people with the confidence and skills to get through tough times and look out for their mates. Through sharing lived experience stories and peer-to-peer education, we are keeping young people from reaching the point of crisis and changing lives. Why am I fundraising for Batyr? My reason to fundraise for this amazing organisation comes from a personal journey. From struggling with body image issues, to all round mental health, it really means a lot to me that there is a safe place to learn and talk about these kind of issues, especially for teenagers and young adults. This is such an important cause for me and it would mean a lot if you could spare any change to donate. All donations $2 and over are tax deductible and you can get a receipt for it
