Hello and thank you for stopping by my page. My name is Candace and I am your Ms Galaxy Success 2024 and as part of my journey to the Australia Galaxy Pageants national final in Sydney this May, I am raising awareness for mental health and money for batyr. Did you know that in Australia, 1 in 4 young people experience mental-ill health, and rates of psychological distress have increased in the last decade. Tragically, suicide is the leading cause of death for young people. By supporting batyr, we’re helping empower young people with the confidence and skills to get through tough times and look out for their mates. Through sharing lived experience stories and peer-to-peer education, we are keeping young people from reaching the point of crisis and changing lives. This cause is very close to my heart, having had my own daughter struggle with her mental health, to the point that she confessed, she thought the world would be a better place without her in it. TICKETS TO ADVENTURE WORLD?!?! I have 4 tickets to giveaway and the opportunity to raise more money for batyr! This will only run for around 36 hours before being drawn so get in fast!

22/02/2024 - Final numbers are in and the bake sale raised $900 for batyr!!!! Could not be more proud of my organisation and so grateful to work for a company that has such generous employees.

Tickets are now on sale for my event "Boogie For batyr" Come along for a night of fun, games, dancing and laughter with friends while we raise much needed money for batyr. Thank you to my Galaxy sash sisters, Amy, Nikia, Monique, Mia, Nikki and Hayley for all volunteering to help me with this event. You all are truly one of a kind. I can't wait to see you all there!
