WHAT A NIGHT!
Thank you for celebrating 7 years of Smashing the Stigma and 6 years of Blue Tie Ballin’. What an incredible night to share with you all.
We are thrilled to announce that the 2018 Blue Tie Ball raised a total of:
An amount that would not have been possible without all of your generous support.
Special thanks to our 2018 Blue Tie Ball Sponsors, VIP tables, guests, those that kindly donated prizes/funds and to our volunteers. You all helped to make this night such a success.
HERE’S A FEW OF OUR HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE NIGHT:
Hearing our inspirational batyr Speaker, Seethal, share her story of strength and resilience. Seethal’s ability to embrace vulnerability and talk openly about her own challenges and the benefits of reaching out for support was so powerful – a reminder that it’s okay not to be okay and that help is out there.
The snowball activity, which encouraged us all to appreciate our own unsung hero. Whether this was parents, friends or anyone who has selflessly impacted our lives in a meaningful and positive way, we loved being able to recognise them, and throw snowballs at Seb!
A big congratulations to batyr’s first ambassador, Paddy Ryan, on winning the Unsung Hero award. Paddy truly is a role model for young people, helping to smash the stigma by opening up about the importance of mental health on and off the rugby field. Thank you as well to the whole Ryan family for their ongoing dedication and support.
